Here are a couple of Ducki favorites by Andrea

Banana almond muffins
I make these for Ducki, but I usually end up eating some myself.
If you have smaller birds (ahem) the muffins can be made in mini muffin trays and then frozen in snack baggies for future use.
Alternatively, you could do a half-batch, of course

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
1tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup mashed bananas (brown ones taste best!)
1/2 cup chopped almonds
2 eggs (with shells for extra calcium if just the bird is eating muffins!)
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
maybe water if needed

Preheat oven to 375F.
Mix all dry ingredients together in large bowl.
In food processor, mix eggs, applesauce, and bananas.
Add dry ingredients to food processor and mix some more.
Add water to gain proper consistency.

Place in muffin cups and bake for ~30min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
COOL before feeding your favorite feathered friend

Another Ducki favorite by Andrea

yummy cubes
food blender
1 dark green leafy veggie (kale or the like)
handful of legume
1 carbohydrate (steamed sweet potato, cooked rice, cooked quinoa, etc)
1 carrot for color

Throw it all in the blender.
Blend while fending off curious beaks.
Spoon some mixture into ice cube tray.
Spoon some mixture into curious beaks.
Spoon rest of mixture into food dish or another ice cube tray.

The trays can be frozen for future use, just take one out at a time and leave in a CLEAN food dish to defrost/get gnawed on.
The is a wet food and should be removed from the cage after ~4 hours and disposed of.
